I have assembled Kossel 800 3D printer

Although is not good looking , at last I spend half month to assemble it as attached picture .   At the beginning , no help from manual , because the designer is lazy or busy to create the manual for us , he just give us the guide to reference Kossel Mini !!!  So all the customer form a group to discuss and solve problem by themselves . So when install the frame , in fact I assemble wrong, have to disassemble 2 – 3 times again during install electrical part . At last , about 1 – 2 weeks I finished installation of frame and electrical parts , helped by our Kossel 800 seller group . But when setup software and calibrate the machine , we meet trouble again . Our talent team found a special way to calibrate by manual instead of unused G29 auto calibration . We can print now . Here is the calibrate test picture .   Do you notice the tiny wire drawing , yes , it is not the perfect , but after create models , it is easy to remove by knife . If try to remove it during printing , we have to adjust slice software parameters at computer side . Anyway , I have not much time waste on it , I just hope to start printing lots of models , skip it now . In order to backup the plastic accessory ( designer’s plastic’s quality is not good and some start to crack .) , I print some spare parts . Then I hope to print bigger toys for my daughter , I start to meet big headache . ( A common issue for FDM printer )  ， Model edge cock !   Above pictures means I lost some model because of edge cocking . When printed Inverted triangle models , plastic material is easy to deform , the edge is probably raise then kick off the printer head . My score is : Lost three big model in one day .  It says that ABS is more headache on edge cock than PLA too ! Our strong Victims team create a method to lighten this issue , add a D9 pc fan near the printer head as below picture . Just hope when material comes out , D9 fan can cool it down faster to reduce edge cock !   Printed a special model to install the fan . Now I am printing big model again , hope that it works ! Finally I have to say , custom Kossel 800 is not easy to play , but it is interesting , it attract me to waste time and money on it now !

Have you seem paint on carbon fiber ? luxury carbon fiber car parts

It is a long time the carbon fiber car parts has not big revolution , factories just wrap carbon fiber clothes as different shape for car parts or other industry area .  Until today , I see paint on carbon fiber car parts !

Here is the pictures , who knows why he paint like this way , and how much he claim ?  more than USD5000 ! crazy , let’s it put into the museum by himself , I won’t buy it ,  I am just wondering how to make .

But I just know , he paint it by hand , then maybe use heat transfer print … that is all info for this luxury carbon fiber car parts at present .

I booked Kossel 800 3D printer

As I research market more , I notice more and more people jump into trading feild in China , good products are always sold out but poor design products are hard to find customer however paid for advertisement . I start to feel that I should step into product development field , or sooner or later , I can not provide a good products .

Firstly I studied 3D design software : Rhino 3D , which is mainly design for shaping . ( I have no interest to study Pro/E or Solidworks , because those mainly face to molds . I would rather place my design to technician rahter than I involve into the deep sea of molding .

Secondly , I booked the cheapest and still said good quality 3D printer : Kossel 800 , some weeks ago , it is just about USD250 shipped , FDM working method , but able to revise the length / height , or even upgrade as laser cutting machine , CNC machine , PCB printer easily . Another reason is I notice this machine is created by a Chinese talent whom is carefully for his products , his previous products are all good remarks , so he should be a good boy to create Kossel 800.      Until today , I have waited Kossel 800 3D printer for some weeks , some one got the machine yesterday because he booked earlier , he print a gift for his daughter , the 3D output seems good enough .

 

The Kossel 3D 800 printer’s design and quality should be up to the market’s FDM commercial 3D printer , the difference is just in what material it use . It says that if poor material is also OK , just the model because ugly , have to polish by yourself .

OK , just some days left the machine will come to me , I will upload more news about it .

Making stainless steel rear bumper step for Landrover

We got an custom order to develop new product for a secret model of Landrover ( sorry for we can not show too much because of privacy )

Here is how we make :

1. It is certainly that we make the mold and install on a big oil-hydraulic pressing machine .

2. We use 304 stainless steel in 0.6mm thickness , frosted surface . Before taking to pressing machine , we use laser cutting machine cut the shape . ( no pic , sorry )

3. After pressing , the rear bumper step looks like below picture .

4. We need to remove the burr and smooth the edge ,  need to polish by workers .

5. After polish , it looks like this in packing desk , looks like almost the same .

6. The last step is to pack with air bubble sheet then put inside the carton .

Revise the light color of A4L door sill

Some months ago , a customer want to find A4L door sill in white or red color , I looked through the market but only Blue one available . At last , I really hope to help him , so try to revise the light color by myself .

Firstly , I have to buy the blue one .

 

I tear off the back sticker then I see three items behind.

 

see these things in front .

 

I had thought it should be good if by EL light , I bought the red one as sample .

 

But when I try to replace the blue one , I found that it is wrong , the film has color itself . The red EL light seems dim .

 

 

Besides the blue film , I believe it is perfect .

 

I also prepare a 3W White SMD light , if put behind the film , it is very bright , looks light blue because of the blue film . 

 

I take another picture to prove that .

 

This is the white SMD light , it is not enough long , but I can purchase longer one .

 

What a surprised for this blue film , why they don’t use transparent one in black shadow ? 

EL light use 3V , has to install a small relay to emulate the light , so although the light is beautiful , it is not the best choice .     

I waited some days for my booked LED Plate light , they are various in voltage  , here is 1.9V , 3.7V , 12V , but lighting output is same .  It is the same light as A4L sample now .

( in fact , the white one has 9 led beads , it is quite bright )

 

At last I install the white one back to the A4L door sill ,  it is simple too , I have glue , 3M sticker , just waste some time on it .

However , revise the Audi A4 door sill light is an interesting work but waste time and money .  I have to buy welding tool , LED sample ( the led factory request big money if just buy sample ) , stickers , glue , power bank before start to work . It seems that in fact I pay the value  is more than the products itself . Anyway , at last , my customer is happy to see his white color door sill .

Customer happiness is my happiness , when I get good remark , I think it is worth .   Enjoy !

 

Revise the light color of A4L door sill

Rare offer, hid reverse light kit for car rear

As more and more install hid headlight to see front clear , how is other car position , for example , car rear light in red mask , most of the car are same low brightness and dim ,

some extreme guy in local market aim at this market , quickly create a new product : Hid reverse light kit , custom design the rear light , increase brightness , here are two pics to show what is that :

The light use smaller and shorter bulb to try to fit the small rear lamp , and use special ballast & cables to link both lights ,

It is obviously that hid light will generate more heat which might burn the red lamp cover , and there is possible that some rear lamp is too small to fit this bulb . If happened , you might have to change bigger rear lamp at your side .

This hid reverse light kit is for extreme car aftermarket , and  for extreme guys ! You must take your own discretion to purchase and install , because this is not a common product , I can not provide guarantee ..

Finally , more and more place does not allow custom hid headlight on car ( but original car hid headlight is OK ) , please respect your side’s law . ( if off-road purpose , it is OK
